Rosignano Marittimo historic center: this ancient village offers a pleasant walk throught its streets, with the possibility of visiting rosignano’s castle and enjoying breathtaking views.
Rosignano Marittimo archeological museum: rosignano marittimo civic archeological museum displays a vast collection of finds ranging from prehistory to the roman era. The most relevant sections include a collection of ceramics, stone tools and metal artefacts that illustrate the daily life of the ancient civilisations of the area, of particular interest are etruscan and roman tombs with their funerary objects, in addition a section dedicated to roman art and architecture. The museum also offers educational tours and workshops for children and adults.

Tombolo di cecina nature reserve: a protected area that offers nature trails, ideal for hiking or biking, and the opportunuty to observe different species of flora and fauna.
Acqua Village Cecina: a water park a short distance from vada, perfect for a fun day with family. Hawaii is the park’s theme, many pools slides and maxi-slides, water games and hidromassages for relaxation and fun for everyone, adults and children.

Bolgheri and the wine route: a charming village famous for its doc wines, wine route offers tasting and visits to local wineries and for having inspired with its cypress-lined avenues the poem “davanti a san guido” by Carducci. From here, going forward Cecina, you can make a stop in the village of Casale Marittimo.

Terme di Venturina: a spa where you can relax and enjoy the benefits of thermal waters: a thousand-year-old lake with a surface area of more than 3000 sq.m. where you can immerse yourself in precious and beneficial waters right where these ones flow and naturally regenerate.

Montecatini val di Cecina: a longer itinerary, but still doable in a day, starts from the medioeval village 30 km far from vada, where you can visit the ancient copper mine.

Santuario di Montenero: located on a hill a short distance away, the sanctuary offers a spectacular view of the coast and the sea. It’s an important place of pilgrimage.
For lovers of historical itineraries, 53 km from vada toward the hinterland, stands the medieval village of San Gimignano, “the city of towers”. On the way back, don’t miss a stop in Volterra, the ancient medioeval city mentioned by d’annunzio. Among the destinations reachable in a day, a special mention deverses massa marittima, 70 km from vada, the “little siena” made of ancient buildings and glimpses of the sea.
These attractions, just a short list, offer a variety of experiences, from culture to nature, from relaxation to entertaiment, which make vada and surroundings an ideal destination for interests, curiosity desire for enjoyment.
